Shouts of ‘Ole!’ will be ringing through the streets of a Shropshire town later this month.
Oswestry will be dusting off its boleros and Cuban heels for an afternoon of foot stamping, head flicking and finger snapping in the award-winning Cae Glas Park.
Organised by Neil Phillips of Eclectic and Fernando Navarro, Latin in the Park takes place on August 27, closing Oswestry Town Council’s 2017 programme of bandstand music in style.
If you don’t know your left foot from your right, or a Fandango from a Cha-cha-cha, then don’t worry - there will be dance demonstrations for those keen to learn some authentic moves.
The less energetic can simply relax and enjoy the infectious rhythms of Latin music from around the world played by a DJ line-up including Jilly of the Vinylistas and Eclectic.
Fun for all the family, the afternoon is free and runs from 12 midday to 7pm. Contact Neil on 07751 160576 for more information.
